Pre-charter inspection is a full Condition survey on behalf of prospective charterers in order to assess the general condition of a 2,805 GT general cargo ship. The full condition includes a review of trading docs, class, statutory and safety-related documents, and certificates. The survey is based on loss prevention and focuses on specific areas such as cargo fitness and ship performance, prior loading.
The service also includes a Hatch Covers Ultrasonic Tightness Test, in order to check the condition of hatch covers and avoid future claims.
