OVERVIEW:
A pre-purchase survey was performed onboard a 3,420 DWT Framo oil tanker at Gibraltar anchorage on behalf of prospective buyers.
The inspection focused on the vessel’s visible condition and included a review of relevant statutory and class certificates together with maintenance and safety-related documentation.
Accessible vessel areas were inspected as operational conditions permitted, including ballast tanks and cargo oil tanks (COTs), providing the prospective buyers with an independent assessment of the vessel’s condition at the time of attendance.
